Are Health Care Sharing Programs Offered by Health Insurance?

Christian health share ministries are not offered by health insurance companies. Instead, they are alternatives to traditional health insurance. OneShare Health is a Health Care Sharing Ministry where Members pay a Monthly Contribution towards the medical costs of all Members who belong to our Sharing Community. They often pay less for their medical care through Christian Health Care Sharing Programs, which allow them to take advantage of discounts for in-network health care providers and much more!

How Does Health Cost Sharing Work?

Our medical cost-sharing Programs bring together like-minded individuals who agree to share the burden of paying for each other’s medical expenses. OneShare Health offers faith-based health care for our Members, who pay a Monthly Contribution that gives them access to in-network doctors, hospitals, and more, often at substantial discounts.

Are Health Sharing Programs offered by health insurance? No, these programs are exclusive to Health Care Sharing Ministries.
